Possible transfer

Today Rick and I will have a video meeting with the social worker in Tampa at 12:30. We believe it is mostly to make sure that we will pay the med flight, however, the vet support has stated not to pay for it and let them push for the VA to work it out.

We understand they have a bed open and have accepted Dustin to go to the Tampa VA. We are not sure if it would perhaps be tomorrow if the med flight can be set up and if all details work out. If that is the case, Rick will drive home and I will fly with Dustin to Tampa. Please pray for an uneventful and smooth trip and transition. With brain injury, new surroundings can be stressful and his heart rate is already tending toward the elevated end. Also I will need prayer cover for the plane ride itself. As many of you know, the last one from Albuquerue was pretty traumatic, so NO IMPRINT of that on my brain allowed!!

We will keep you posted as to the daily progress.

Nerina made the most awesome video to encourage Dustin. He had not felt well enough to watch it , but we will show it to him today. Her parents have to be of the utmost of proud of the daughter they have raised. She truly knows and understands, God's love, that unconditional love that obviously her familiy has shown and taught her. Being in Tampa will allow her to visit as well as some of our other family members such as Nerina's family, Rick's sister and our son Tucker. This will take off some of the burden from me for his care and motivation and watching over his medical care. It has been a full time job and I have had much support from Nerina's family. They have been instrumental in getting Dustin accepted to Tampa. I am so grateful for their support not only of Dustin but of Rick and I.

Thanks for ALL of your prayers and support. We look forward to a great testimony of healing in the days to come.
