Gods'a protection

Just talked to Dustin and he had an "interesting " day. He gets his breathing treatments through a filter and through the vent. This time however, the filter was clogged and his usual stance is "OK the vent is doing the work and I have to stop breathing and let the machine take over. Only this time the filter was clogged and he could not breath. His "programming" is don't breath. He woke up with all of these nurses around him as he had blacked out from lack of oxygen due to the clogged filter. Fortunately the respiratory therapist was in the room (normally they leave and go work on other patients) and death was prevented. He had blacked out and stopped breathing. We continue to see that God's hand is on his life, otherwise the enemy of death would have taken him out. We are grateful ( and Dustin saw) that the therapist was in the room and prevented complications. He allowed me to pray and break off any trauma and fear of death during this time and to speak how God's hand is on him mightily. There have been too many attempts at him to die to believe that God is not preserving him for a perfect testimony and plan.

As always, grateful that God is in charge and loves Dustin and wants him to live!!

Thanks for continued prayers
mary pat

It is so awesome that Dustin is doing so much better. It is obvious that God has a plan for him. It will be so exciting to see how it all plays out.
You are doing a great job and it seems that God is doing some great work on your relationship with Dustin also. As always this blog is a blessing to us all. Laurie

Mary Pat, I read your blog and this verse came to my heart. "For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell." Ps. 86:13
We pray for all of you to be strengthened with might in your inner man.
Believing for complete restoration.
Love you,
Laura
