Friday - afternoon off for Mom

Today was a similar day to yesterday without the beauty treatments. He did finally get to have his power punch tube meals which was probably a treat since he hasn't had it for a few days because of the peg they put in his intestines for feeding.

Nerina called and talked to him and I know that is a treat for him.

We won the battle for no antidepressants so please pray against all oppression and heaviness that might try to drop in. The psychiatrist, Nari, the resident will be leaving on Wed and I will miss her. She gave me a big hug.

Dustin's respiratory situation has not improved and he is not able to sit up without having respiratory distress. He continues to initiate his breaths but must have the ventilator and O2 for assistance.

The VA says they are checking into the VA in Augusta GA but no one wants to pay for the very expensive medical flight. If you have any pilot friends or doctors or nurses that would be interested in helping us out or know people with planes, please pass the word. We are still believing that we can get him into Shepherd Rehab in Atlanta but he will still need to get there.

A friend of our 7000 Project pastor out here took me on a wonderful 6 mile hike into the mountains. It was a beautiful day and although I like being here it was good to get out. Rick played nurse for the afternoon and as usual is awesome.

I am going to be flying to Virginia from Mon-Thurs next week to see my mom in her final days of a rapidly consuming cancer. Flying from ALB to Roanoke VA is like flying from one lily pad to another to get there as well as very expensive but I really want to see my mom before she meets her maker. She is at great peace with all of this and has had a great life of being a matriarch of the family and a world traveler. Rick will hold the fort down here until I get back and then my best friend from Naples will come out to be with me.

We now have an address if you need it.

Rick and Mary Pat Jones
P.O. Box 1251
Albuquerque NM 87103-1251

Please continue to pray for his respiratory system and increased alertness and comprehension as well as anything else that you can think of. We continue to need every prayer and feel strengthened by each one.

We love you lots
Rick and Mary Pat

Good Morning,
Do you have an idea of the timing for the needed flight to GA? Even the month or the week? Or is it ASAP?
miss you,
Helena

Hey you two,
We had awesome prayer and a beautiful song dedicated to you today at church. All of us are asking God for a restorative miracle for Dustin. We are continuing to pray for stamina for you and your family to go through all this. We will join with you to ask God for a plane.
Much love, HT & Marsha
