Dustin is having a better day this Thurs. morning. Yesterday he was talking around the vent but the respiratory people inflated the tube around the vent to stop secretions going down the vent tube to his lungs. So now he can not talk and it makes him frustrated. His lungs have less fluid but still they have to suck it out often. His back is giving him trouble because of the scoliosis he has and it is causing pressure on the left side which is the collapsed lung side. So join us in prayer to remove the scoliosis and bring his spine back into full alignment.
He had PT this morning and he sat up on the edge of the bed with his feet on the floor. He did this for about 6 minutes but he started racing his heart rate up so they laid him back down. His temperature is elevated today at 103 again so cold cloths and fans to reduce it back are being applied. We are reading the word of God over him and Prov. 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones..Isa. 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
MP is still in Va. with mom. Mom had a sleepover nurse start last night to assist but mom slept all night and needed no help. Praise God. Mom is getting a hospital bed today to assist in comfort. Her pain is increasing so pray for the spirit of pain to be removed and no fear to enter because of the pain. Isa: 53:4 Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our SORROWS.. (in Hebrew sorrow means pain ) Mom is at peace and the word says we should live to 70 and at 80 a little trouble. She knows the Lord and that gives peace to MP and myself. Looking forward to MP coming back tomorrow but I will be going back to Ga. Sat am to take care of the home front and dogs.
We have had great support with all the home issues that have popped up. Breana has been a great house sitter an we thank her publicly for all her support as well as the others behind the scene work.
