Dustin just had another bronchoscopy and things looked better than the doctors thought. Praise God! He is having a chest and shoulder x-ray as well now.
Dustin had a fever of 103 all day yesterday but broke it off early this morning. He is now sleeping off the anesthesia.
Yesterday was a day of bus riding. I practiced Monday which was a holiday. Rain and cold out and of course I did not bring clothing for the weather. Thought it was always 80 degrees here. Wrong!! Went to the social security office as a walk in... It started with the words "we are sorry but the system is down and you might have to come back tomorrow". I of course knew that prayer was needed for peace and patience. Received both and with in an hour I was seeing a case worker. It took about one hour and a half for the paper work to be filled out but it was and all went well. I then had to come back to the hospital for Dustin to sign the forms. He was not able to sign, so I put the pen in his hand helped him sign them. We had to have a witness for the signing but they were available and the forms were signed and then back off to the S.S office to return the signed forms. This will make Dustin eligible for disability insurance and other medical benefits.
Mary Pat is up in Va. with mom and it is a blessing to have her there. Mom is at peace with MP there and helping her take care of details and some of her basic needs. I miss her but know she is a image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and shining Love while away. There is no distance in spirit and we are one.
We thank each and every one of you for your prayers of Belief that out Father God is the healer and healing Dustin even if we do not see it yet.

Hi Rick and Mary Pat,
Just wanted to let you know I am praying for you.
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned ; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Blessings,

Rick and Mary Pat,
You were on my mind this morning and I am glad to be able to catch up through your blog. Thanks for keeping us informed. I've never used a blogspot before, but it is a great tool to use under the circumstances. Jana and I miss your company and look forward to sharing a meal and/or a hug sometime soon. We have some great stainless cups which could be used to share a spot of tea (or ice cream!) We are glad you have each other (two are better than one.) I guess your house is being looked after, but if there is anything we can do for you here please call. We are praying for the two of you, Dustin, and MP's Mom. God's Word says he won't give us more than we can bear, and what you are going through would be close to, if not over, our limit. We pray for your peace in the midst of it all.
Much Love,
Jim and Jana
