Thanks for thinking of us during this tough time. Dustin had surgery yesterday whereby his C3-C6 vertebra were fused to get him out of traction and so that they could move him without further damage. Currently he is unable to move his legs or have fine motor skills in his upper body. We are also praying for him to get off the ventilator quickly. I will be staying here in Albuquerque for 4-8 weeks while he is in the hospital and then he will go to rehab somewhere. One day at a time.
