short update

Dustin had a fairly positive morning followed by an afternoon of withdrawel and anger. After his bed bath and some activity he had a lot of breathing issues with all of the medical staff working on him. He is resting now.

I talked to the social worker and it looks like Augusta GA VA it probably going to be the choice if they can take him. It is the location apparently for a regional focus for spinal cord injury patients, especially those coming back from Iraq. That would be a positive place with a lot of young guys who like to perform! Probably more innovative ideas and research with this population.

There has been no progress on the weaning of the vent or swallowing study due to another fever. Their main focus is to figure out what is causing the fever. They did a sonogram of his gallbladder, some kind of thrombosis test to see if there were blood clots and checking his arm which had puncture wounds from the accident as well as his small bed sores to see if that could be causing the fever. So far , I am not sure of results but everything seems OK..

One of our 7000 project members took Gretchen and I out for dinner last night and that was enjoyable. We try to read a bit at night but sleep always wins out.

We continue to covet all prayers and support.

thanks to all and be blessed

Dear Mary Pat,
Rick is in the office this morning. Good to see him ;o) Thank you for allowing me to use your blue bag of props for the kids program. The little girl who got to punch the bubble wrap was happy ;o) We continue to pray for you all and are so thankful to our Father for His love for all during this time. Love and Blessings, Jim & Audra

I am continuing to pray that these fevers stop in Jesus name and that they find the source of any infection.

It was good to see Rick and get a live update. Love you.
